1. Tell us about yourself.

I am currently in my second year at the Technical University of Sofia. Here I am pursuing a degree in computer system and technologies. Currently I am working in a project for Peugeot-Citroen.

2. How did you learn about Visteon Engineering Academy?

If I have to be honest it was by coincidence! One day I was looking through an economic website in which I saw an interview with Ivan Mihaylov who was talking about the academy.

3. How did you decide to apply for Visteon Engineering Academy?

The decision to apply wasn’t hard. I saw an opportunity to gain new knowledge from people who work in real world project so I immediately applied.

4. What did you know about Visteon before applying?

Before I applied to Visteon I only knew that they were developing software solutions for the automotive sector but that was all.

5. What did you like most during the Academy?

During the Academy I liked the most that the people there were really trying to help us gain new knowledge and they were always ready to help. Sometimes we stayed 2-3 hours after the end of the lecture. They were always trying to find new ways how to explain the material so that everyone could understand it.

6. What are the benefits for you from passing the Academy?

The benefits were numerous. I gained more technical knowledge, also made new friendships with the people that were in the Academy and with the lecturers.

7. Why did you decide to accept Visteon offer and join our team?

This decision was easy. During the Academy I got the chance to meet some of the people that work in the company and I saw that they were positive people with which it would be great to work and from which I could learn a lot. Also in Visteon I have the chance to be part of the technology revolution that the company is trying to make.

8. Tell us about your future professional plans.

I have some plans but I prefer not to tell them. For now I will get my bachelor’s degree and to make the most of the time I spend working so that I can develop my skill set.

9. What would you say to anyone considering to apply for the Academy?

I would say that they should not hesitate to apply to the academy if they want to learn new stuff and have fun. Also there they can make new friendships that they will be grateful for.
